Dreams, lifted step by step by balloons

Over the past 15 years, Taitung’s hot air balloons have evolved into a force that carries the city’s growth and imagination forward. More than a spectacle, they have gradually lifted people’s visions of life, future, and possibility—bringing greater visibility to Taitung itself.

“Walk-In Taitung” transforms this idea into an immersive space within Warehouse 275. Visitors step into this accumulated journey, experiencing how balloons become a force that lifts both the city and its dreams.

Through this project, the hot air balloon is redefined as a lasting symbol that continues to elevate Taitung and connect it with the world.

The exhibition is designed as a “walk-in hot air balloon,” guiding visitors from the ground through stages of preparation, inflation, and ascent. Rather than focusing on a single moment, it presents a 15-year journey built step by step.

Through transitions in light, sound, and space, visitors experience how energy accumulates—until it lifts not only the balloon, but the city and the dreams within it.

By combining installations and interactive elements, the exhibition invites visitors to engage with this process and rediscover the relationship between time, place, and the act of lifting dreams.

This exhibition is fully reservation-based (Advance Reservation + On-site Registration). Visitors are admitted in scheduled time slots throughout the day. Each session lasts 15 minutes and is limited to 20 visitors.

► Reservation Period | Opens on June 15. Reservations close 7 calendar days before the visit date.
► Capacity | 12 visitors per session. Each person may reserve up to 2 spots per booking.

► Registration Time | Queue tickets are distributed daily from 08:30 until fully booked.
