▌Project Overview

Former Taitung Railway Station was once an important gateway into the city, carrying memories of arrival, departure, and local life. In Taitung Dreamline, the station is reimagined at night as a symbolic “ticket booth for dreams,” where light, motion, and architecture come together to open an imagined route through Taitung. As images of tickets, platforms, and trains emerge across the building facade, the former station becomes the starting point of a journey that exists beyond any real railway map.

▌Program Description

Taitung Dreamline is a projection-mapping performance that unfolds as an imagined train journey through Taitung. The work connects the openness of the East Coast, the energy of baseball fields, surfing waves, rice paddies, and cycling routes, as well as the mystery of the ocean, flying fish, whales, Austronesian cultural imagery, hot air balloons, and Jiaming Lake. Moving between landscape, movement, memory, and imagination, the performance invites audiences to experience Taitung as a living world of nature, culture, and dreams.
