Taitung Go Sun invites visitors to explore the historic heart of Taitung through a curated old-town walking experience. Centered around the Former Taitung Railway Station, Tianhou Temple, and the Taitung County Government, the project connects the city’s historic districts, local culture, and everyday life, offering a new way to discover Taitung on foot.

Begin your journey through the official LINE digital guide and explore 30 curated “Go Sun Spots” throughout the old town. Walk or cycle through the neighborhood, simply scan the guide signs with your smartphone to unlock local stories, interactive quizzes, and hidden discoveries. Piece together your own unique urban adventure while experiencing the charm of Taitung’s historic streets.

✦ Beiding Main Exhibition Area: Taitung Go Sun Exchange Hub

Welcome to the Taitung Go Sun Exchange Hub!

Redeem stamp collection rewards and explore three themed spaces: the Go Sun Project Room, Go Sun Gallery, and Neighborhood Research Room. Featuring representative objects from all 30 Go Sun Spots, the exhibition introduces the stories behind the old town before you begin your journey. Visitors can also leave messages through LINE, creating opportunities for interaction and shared experiences.

✦ Baosang Road Exhibition Area: Baosang EAT Day – A Street of Culinary Memories

Once one of Taitung’s liveliest commercial streets, Baosang Road is lined with long-established eateries that have preserved the flavors and memories of generations. As you enjoy these local delicacies, keep an eye out for the three giant Go Sun Travelers hidden throughout the neighborhood—they make perfect photo spots along your journey.

✦ Central Market Exhibition Area: After the Market Closes

You’ve probably visited Central Market during the day—but have you ever experienced it after the vendors have gone home?

Preserving the market’s original setting, this exhibition transforms the space with projection mapping, immersive sound, and atmospheric lighting. Blending memories of the traditional morning market with contemporary media art, it offers visitors a unique sensory experience unlike any other.
