Established in 2012, Leading Coffee specializes in coffee roasting and knowledge sharing with an artisan spirit; hidden within the Zhiben Forest Road in the shallow mountains of Zhiben, it faces the Pacific Ocean with Dawu Mountain at its back, overlooking the natural beauty of the Taitung plains; the studio sells specialty coffee beans and drip bags from international estates and local Taitung sources; on-site experiences include flavor tasting for bean selection or single cup brewing.
Leading Coffee lists 2–3 new beans every month and releases a monthly bean menu; all items on the menu are available as roasted coffee beans or coffee drip bags. To present the cleanest quality, all raw coffee beans undergo wind selection to blow away impurities, and before and after roasting, AI bean sorting machines and manual multi-stage procedures are used to remove defective beans, serving as the strictest guard for health. Mainly supplying light to medium roasted coffee beans; there is no expected coffee bitterness, as various fruit acids and aromas are the flavors we aim to present.
