Kick off World Listening Day by exploring the cultural history of Chenggong Township. Located next to the bustling Chenggong Fishing Harbor, this two-story Japanese-style building was constructed in the same year as the harbor. It was originally built by Katsutaro Sugamiya, who served as the Chief of the Shinkang (now Chenggong) District during the Japanese colonial period. Rather than accepting a relocation order, he chose to resign and settle down in Shinkang, building this residence.
